| Our Professional Team Walter Kazmierczak , Managing Director Walt founded Inspectel in 2007. His expertise in corporate management, finance, tax, auditing, M&A, operations, and business development was gained over a 20 year period during which time he held senior executive positions at middle-market and Fortune 100 media companies including Faxon, Houghton Mifflin, Harcourt, Viacom, Pearson, Crown Books, AOL/Time Warner, and Vertrue. Walt received a BA in Economics from Yale, MBA in Finance from Suffolk University, and executive degrees in finance and marketing at Wharton and Columbia respectively. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and Professional Risk Managers' International Association. James Downey, CPA, CFA Jim is a risk management, audit, and tax expert, bringing over 14 years of experience gained at KPMG and in private practice to Inspectel. His background includes substantial work in corporate tax, SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and accounting for complex transactions. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant, the CFA Institute, and earned his BS in Accounting from Bentley University. Charles Rockwood Charles brings 20 years of tax, audit, corporate finance and operating expertise gained with Big 4 accounting, Fortune 500, and private equity firms to Inspectel. Gerry brings over 20 years of extensive experience dealing with the Internal Revenue Service regarding the processing and audit tax returns, at both the agent and appeals levels. Gerry is licensed to practice in both Connecticut and New York. He received his BS in Economics and J.D. from St. John's University.
Telecommunications Technology Alon Cohen, Chief Technology Advisor Alon Cohen is an entrepreneur, inventor and is widely recognized as one of the creators of the Voice over IP industry. He has founded and managed a successful series of recent business ventures, including BitWine and RemoteAbility. Cohen was also the co-founder of VocalTec Communications (NASDAQ:VOCL), the first company to provide Internet voice technology worldwide, which in 1996 was one of the earliest successful Internet IPOs. As an innovator, Alon Cohen holds 4 US patents on different communications technologies, including the “Audio Transceiver” (US Patent 5,825,771) which is the basis for Voice over the Internet (VoIP) technology. He is currently Chief Technology Officer at Phone.com. Moira Hallowell Moira Hallowell serves as Vice President of Information Technology at Inspectel. She is a result driven telecommunications and information technology executive who brings 20 years of application and infrastructure project management, and operational management experience gained at Fortune 100 corporations to our team. Moira has received numerous awards domestically and internationally in her areas of expertise, and is a graduate of Yale where she earned her degree in Technology and Administrative Sciences.
Corporate Development Edward A. Terino, Chief Development Advisor Ed Terino sits on the Board of Directors of several publicly traded corporations, and chairs the Audit and Compensation Committees at Phoenix Technologies LTD. Mr. Terino is President of GET Advisory Services, LLC, a strategic and financial management consulting firm focused on technology and maritime industries. He began his 30 year business career with Deloitte & Touche. He has held senior executive positions at publicly traded corporations including Corporate Vice President at Houghton Mifflin, CFO, Treasurer & Secretary at Celerity Solutions, Applix, and Art Technology Group before becoming CEO of Arlington Tanker Ltd. Ed holds a B.S degree from Northeastern University and an MBA from Suffolk University. Mark Jankowski
Mark Jankowski serves as Vice President of Corporate Development at Inspectel, and brings 25 years of industry experience as a marketing executive at multi-national Global 1000 corporations to Inspectel. Over the past decade he has led domestic and international market expansion strategies for US based technology, chemical and manufacturing corporations in North and South America, Asia, and the EU. Mark is considered an expert in his field and has been a frequent industry speaker. Mark received a BS in Chemistry from Yale. Independent Legal Counsel Michael J. Mazzone Mr. Mazzone is a Partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP and is licensed to practice in both Texas and Massachusetts as well as in all of the federal courts in Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Mazzone is also a member of the American Arbitration Association’s National Panel of Arbitrators, and is regularly called on to preside over arbitrations. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, attended graduate school at the University of Michigan, and obtained his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.
